Boredom can be a soul killer. You often find yourself in the middle of an unwanted funk and you might not know what to do with your life or yourself. Well, I am here to help. Here is a list of things that you can do to kill time and feel great when you're experiencing a dry-spell from fun.

1. Dance like nobody’s watching.

2. Sing your heart out.

3. Watch YouTube fail videos.

There is nothing better than watching people make a fool of themselves. If you like Vines, go for it! Pranks, music fails, failed auditions, whatever floats your boat. Watch it and put your heart at ease through laughter.

4. DIY projects.

Try a new project for the sake of it. Try origami, paint your room, paint your shoes, try arts and crafts, or make that damn journal you've wanted to make months ago!!

5. Write a letter to your best friend.

Sometimes we need to remind ourselves why we love them.

6. Write a letter to the person that you dislike and then burn it.

7. Try to cook a new meal.

This is even better if you cannot cook, or if you're an absolute foodie. Hopefully, you don't get food poisoning, but cheers to the success of your dish!

8. Take Buzzfeed quizzes.

You might find out if you are the Ron Weasley or the Hermoine Granger of the group. You'll learn what character from The Office or F.R.I.E.N.D.S you are most like. Give it a try! It might make your day or leave you asking yourself, "WTF?"

9. Figure out if you are smarter than a 5th grader.

10. Rewatch your favorite TV episodes or your favorite movie.

11. Do a crossword puzzle or Sudoku.

12. Reorganize your life.

What better time is there to get your life together than when you're bored. Use that time that you'd potentially waste to carry out productive activities. Clean your room, paint it in a new color, get up to date with your work or projects that you've put on pause. GET 👏🏾 IT 👏🏾 TOGETHER 👏🏾 SIS 👏🏾

13. Create a mood board from your favorite posts on Instagram.

14. Try to recreate your favorite music video choreography.

15. Facetime/call/bother your best friend.

That's why we have them, right? They should be able to get you out of your funk. It is the best time to catch up with and update them on everything old and new.

16. Vision board.

Where do yourself in the next five years? What do want to achieve at the end of the year? Create your vision and speak it into existence.

17. Write.

Write about everything and nothing! Write a poem, a song or write about the random thought that popped into your head just now.

18. Get an adult coloring book and color away.

Coloring + Adults = F.U.N.

19. Catch up on some readings.

The gif says it all!

20. Dye your hair.

Because why the hell not? Get out of your comfort zone and go blonde, put some pink on it, and then get some comfort food and call it a day.

21. Sleep or find other forms of relaxation.

If all else fails... sleep!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
