Life doesn’t always give you a straight shot to your dreams. More often than not, you have to fight your way through obstacles and hope you end up on the other side where you need to be. We have all experienced a time in life where you feel as if every decision you make, big or small, is going to determine the rest of your life. It’s exhausting, it’s stressful, it’s scary, and it’s impossible. We put our trust and identity in the wrong things; the things that will take us off our desired path and down a path to something destructive, to a life that we weren’t created to live. There is only one place we can put our complete trust. It is trust that will get us through the mountainous obstacles where come out on the other side in a better place than we were before. It is a trust in Jesus Christ.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all you ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
God, the maker and ruler of the universe, has the power and desire to give you a life that is more amazing than you could ever imagine. Our minds can’t comprehend the amount of love he pours over us and into us. He wants to give us the desires of our hearts and He wants to give us a full and abundant life.
All it takes is for us to put aside our pride, our fear, our anxiety, and fully trust in Him. He will provide and He will keep us on the right path. Don’t let the ways of this world take your eyes off of what is real and true, but instead, fall to Jesus in every triumph and every struggle and He will bring you through. Find peace in His power and greatness, because when you ask, He will provide.
Prayer is one of our biggest gifts because it allows us to communicate with an awesome friend and Father. Go to Him with confidence; tell Him your fears and your desires. He will deliver in amazing ways. It might not be exactly what you expect or when you expect it, but trust Him because He will give you something a million times better than you could have ever imagined. He is a loving and faithful God and all He asks of us is to go all in with our lives and trust Him without limits.
“Teach me your ways, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.” Psalm 86:11
We can’t do life alone. We will fail every single time we try. Seek The Lord and you will never face things alone. Give Him everything and He will multiply it for you. Trust Him. Be open and vulnerable with Him, give every single aspect of your life and I promise you, what He has in store for you is something you never imagined was possible. Give Him and trust Him with every aspect in your life, and He will provide.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3
Everything and everyone in your life will fail you and disappoint you, but your Heavenly Father is perfect, He will never let you fall. He wants to give you an abundant and overflowing life, all you have to do is ask Him and seek Him. Don’t try to fill and fix your broken soul. Give it to God, trust Him with it, and He will restore it to better than new. Don’t let the things of this world come in between you and your trust, nothing here will satisfy you, but God is everlasting.
“The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.” Proverbs 11:5
Find peace in the arms of our Lord. Let Him light your way and open your doors. Trust His direction for you because he has plans to prosper us and not to hurt us. We were created for greatness so allow Jesus to guide us to that. Your life is precious, put it in the hands of the One who created it and the One who will overflow it with joy and prosperity. Rejoice because there is a Lord out there who knows every hair on your head, who loves you so deeply, and who will guide you through the brokenness of this world to abundant life. Let Him turn your crooked paths straight.
