I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. You may not know what that reason is but in the end it will all make sense. There are so many things that happen in life that have left me wondering what to do next. But every time something bad happens, something good can come out of it. You just need to find the positive in a bad situation. Believe me, sometimes it feels nearly impossible to do so, but you just need to trust in the plan because in the end everything always works out.
In my life I have had several moments that have left me clueless on what to do. The one that has had the biggest impact on me most is college. It was so exciting to leave for college and get to school and meet all new people. But I just was not ready to let go. I thought I was ready but once I was all moved it had changed.
The first day at college we moved into a dorm room and unpacked all my things. I said goodbye to my parents unsure of the next time I would be able to see them. This first day really wasn't bad at all. The following days is what really hit me. I was miserable and wanted to pack up and go home because I was very homesick. I never once thought I would be because I couldn't wait to get up to school. Watching them drive away wasn't the tough part, it was when I wanted to talk to them but they weren't there. I called them several times a day to talk to them because I missed everything about home. I wanted to transfer so I could be closer to home but I know that I had to stick it out to see if that was the right thing to do.
I gave it time and after a few weeks I was slowly starting to like the place. I met a great group of friends that make school much more enjoyable. They make it feel like home when I am around them because we are always having a great time.
I learned that when things get tough you can't just give up. I have heard this so many times in my life but I truly understand it so much better now. So many things in life will be tough, but you really cannot just quit on them. You need to stick through it because good things will come. It may be hard for awhile but it can't be horrible forever. It will eventually get better and it'll make that event or in my case my experience that much better because I knew that I trusted the plan.
Life will be great and then it will throw a curve ball when you're least expecting it. You won't know what to do but you have a feeling like you want to give up. What you need to do is wait on it and hit a home run. Never give up because in the end it all works out.
