Life is a constant roller coaster of up and downs, twists and turns. Every day you stumble across obstacles that don't go exactly with what you had planned out for that day. And guess what? It is OK. If life worked out exactly the way you had planned, it would not be very exciting nor would you grow into a stronger and better version of yourself. Life was not made to be easy, it is there to help shape you into the person you need to be. Every obstacle, down fall, and rise up happens for a reason.
As John 13:7 says, Jesus replied, "You do not know now what I am doing, but later you will understand."
You see, God has a plan for you, "A plan to prosper you and not harm you, a plan to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Therefore, do not try to change the things that are happening to you in your life. Whether it is good or bad, I guarantee you they are all part of God's plan for you in order for you to become the strong and stable person He can see you becoming. When you are given a time a hardship, learn from it. Try to find the positive side in every situation and let it help you. When you are going through a great time and you are the happiest you can be, enjoy it and remember that time to help you get through the next hardship that is to come your way.
Life is not something you have to have figured out by the time you reach college or the next chapter in your life. It is OK to not know what you want to do for the rest of your life. I know this first hand, I've already changed my major and still am not 100 percent sure of what I want in life. And honestly I'm content and happy because I know whatever I decide to do in life and where I want to go in life is all part of God's plan for me. He knows what He is doing, just have trust in Him and everything will fall into place.
Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
With that being said, trust in the Lord to guide you on your way to a full life. Never lose hope when things get rough or even if you are stressed because you have no idea where you are heading in life. It will all be ok because the Lord is on your side and will not lead you wrong. He is always with you and will never steer you wrong. Life will never be easy, it will always be a roller coaster. There will be days of ups and days with downs, even a few days with both, but always take them in and know they are part of your life plan. And in the end, with faith, your life will be one that you will never regret.
