If anyone is like me, binge-watching Netflix comes as a second talent. But out of all the rom-coms, medical-dramas, and docu-series, there is one show I come back to over and over again: Parks and Recreation. Yeah, it's a little dry at first and Leslie Knope makes me cringe once in a while, but the show itself has one of the most well-written scripts, not for just their main characters, but their secondary characters as well. I'm talking about Andy Dwyer, Tom Haverford, Chris Traeger, and the most under-looked character of all, April Ludgate, She is every-twenty something girl's inner spirit animal, and with every continuing season she proves exactly why.
1.She gets that your $80 bottle of pinot grigio can never out best a bottle of Barefoot. And spending even five minutes smelling it is a waste of time, and your dignity.
2. People suck, we all feel that way, and hence why we replace people with puppies.
3. When we get annoyed by people, alcohol is not the answer. It is the question, and the answer is yes.
4.Obligations to be places where we have no desire to be are BS.
5. She understands the way we act when we go out.
