'Trail To Terror': A New Look On Fear

The 20-year-old Minnesota native, Dakota Laden, is living his dream. Laden runs a popular YouTube channel called “Shortfilmzz123” and he has over 200 videos varying from comedic shorts to documentaries to rap videos. Laden is often joined by his friends in his videos.

Running this YouTube channel has brought him many opportunities. Laden has won or placed in several contests, such as the "Ghost Adventures Mashup Video Contest" where he had the chance to spend a night with the Ghost Adventure crew. Because of his channel, he’s also developed enough skills to work on big name movies like “The Last Witch Hunter” and “Allegiant.”

But Laden’s biggest project to date has just wrapped up its filming. Over a month ago, Laden released a video announcing the full length documentary he is filming called “Trail to Terror.” The documentary is about capturing what true fear looks like while spending five consecutive nights in haunted places.
