If you're looking to battle the heat this summer but catching up with the new blockbusters coming out, look no further. From "Ice Age: Collision Course" to "Star Trek Beyond," this summer has mot definitely supplied society with new and exciting movies. Check out this list of top summer movies to catch in July and August.

"Ghostbusters"

If you're looking for an action/adventure comedy, "Ghostbusters" is for you. In theaters July 15, "Ghostbusters" rewrites supernatural comedies. Some of the actors include Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and many more.

"Ice Age: Collision Course"

In theatres July 22, "Ice Age: Collision Course" is centered around the famous Scrat. His adventures take him to space where he is about to embark on a whole new journey. Whether you are a young child or an adult, we all love a good "Ice Age" movie.

"Star Trek Beyond"

Calling all lovers of Star Trek! "Star Trek Beyond" will be released on July 22. A combination of action, sci-fi and adventure, "Star Trek Beyond" is about Captain Kirk and crew of the Enterprise coming face to face with an alien race. You won't want to miss this thrilling sequel.

"Nerve"

Starring Julia Roberts and Dave France, "Nerve" is the story of an online game of truth or dare. The duo are challenged and team up to win the game. But will they? See for yourself in theaters July 27.

"Bad Moms"

Starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Christina Applegate and many more, "Bad Moms" will leave laughing until you cry. This comedy comes to theaters on July 29. Be sure to catch these overworked moms overthrow all of their duties as mothers as they truly begin to enjoy their lives.
