February is usually the month people decide to stay in, drink hot chocolate, and watch movies. However, if you live in New York, there are some great things to do right here in new York City.

1. Ice Skating

There are many great rinks right here in NYC (Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, etc...) Just grab some friends and rent a pair of skates (or bring your own) and enjoy!

2. Restaurant Week

From January 3rd to February 10th, more than 300 restaurants offer amazing deals on three-course meals. Make sure to make a reservation around February 2nd for any restaurants you're interested in.

3. Chelsea Market

Chelsea Market is located in Manhattan, NY. It's a shopping mall and a food mall. It has multiple types of food from pasta to crepes to salads, etc. There is also a wonderful flea market that has many unique antiques, jewelry, etc.

4. Broadway

Broadway is a great place to watch new plays and relax. Some great new shows that have recently been released are Waitress, The Book of Mormon, and Dear Evan Hansen.


No matter the month, there are great things to do in the big city of New York. Don't let the weather get to you and get out with some friends!
