Feeling down? Need something to keep you going until the next break in school? Here you go! The perfect playlist to brighten your day. There are definitely more songs to add to your personal "Feel Good" playlist at your own discretion. However, after talking to some students on campus and searching the internet for music, these gems were found and decided on. Enjoy these in any particular order and maybe have a little dance sesh.

"Three Little Birds" -Bob Marley & The Wailers

Stressed? Maybe overwhelmed...? Well don't worry about a thing... you know how it goes. The perfect song to calm yourself down and get ready for all the amazing things you will accomplish. It was released in 1977.

"Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)" -Shakira

This song was once the theme for the FIFA Cup and is known for being super inspirational and fun. Definitely, a bop that brings everyone together with the joy that is music and dance.

"Don't Stop Me Now" -Queen

With the Queen hype still going strong, who doesn't love an inspirational anthem to play throughout the day. It is from the album "Jazz" that was released in 1979. A true bop.

"Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" -Michael Jackson

My personal favorite artist of all time. Had to throw some MJ into this list of bops. Who doesn't love this well-known beat and exciting vocal set?! We love a true king! From the album "Off the Wall" album released in 1979. Always a motivational song to get you going for the day.

"Sweet Caroline" -Neil Diamond

SWEET CAROLINE...BUM BUM BUUUUMMMM!!! We all know it and can sing along. One of the best songs for a road trip or a boring day that could use some excitement. It was released a single in 1969 and is still well known today.

"Celebration" -Kool and the Gang

Perfect for every celebration even the small ones. A fun tune to get you moving in your office chair. It was released as a single in 1980.

"September" -Earth, Wind, & Fire

Do you remember? Of course, you do!! An easily recognizable song to add to every classics playlist. My home studio used to end every show with this as the finale because it was a sure fire way to get everyone on their feet. It was released in 1978 as a single and then with the album, "I Am".

"Send Me On My Way" -Rusted Root

Giphy

The perfect song for a fun-filled road trip!! I cannot express this enough! It is a must-have on your driving playlist It was released as a single in 1995 and you cannot go wrong with this pick.

"Don't Worry, Be Happy" -Bobby McFerrin

Obviously, how can you be sad when the song is telling you to be happy. It was released in 1988 and always can brighten your day.

"Dancing Queen" -ABBA

Dancing Queen, young and sweet!!!! All the love for this powerful anthem. It was the leading single from the album "Arrival" released in 1976. It was brought back to life with the hit musical, "Mamma Mia".

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
