Ever since its release in 2012, "Black Mirror" has been one of the most controversial and eye-opening show premises since "The Twilight Zone." Ever since the shocking first episode featuring the now infamous "piggate," fans realized the viewing experience would never be the same. Out of all the show's crazy and unforgettable moments, let us take a look at the top 10 plot twists from all three seasons of "Black Mirror." Warning: this post will contain spoilers.

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!

1. Nosedive: She's finally free...in prison?

Throughout the entire episode, we follow Lacie as her whole existence is based on getting a high rating while performing her daily activities from the individuals she is surrounded by. The entire episode consists of some artificial and rather unlikeable characters, so the ending is done in such a way that we finally have characters to root for. I mean, come on, who didn't get chills when they realized all that yelling and cursing finally made Lacie feel a true and genuine happiness?

2. National Anthem: It was all for nothing...

Perhaps one of the most difficult scenes to watch out of all episodes (you all know the one), "National Anthem" was 45 minutes of pure intensity. The whole episode leads up to the pig scene, and once it's over, you think honor will be restored. However, the writers take this episode one step further in the final minutes. Viewers eventually find out that the princess was released hours before he was publicly humiliated, which basically translates to: he went through all that trouble for absolutely no reason.

3. Hated in the Nation: The targets weren't the genuine targets

For some reason I found this episode's plot twist a bit predictable, but it was executed so effectively that I did not really mind it. The entire time, we feel as though we are accurately predicting who will be the next to die according to a dangerous social media hashtag. Little do we know, the true targets are not the people being voted for, but the people participating. The look on everyone's face when they realize they are about to die for choosing other people to kill is one that will stay with you for quite some time.

4. The Entire History of You: She really WAS cheating on him (paranoid for good reason)

Perhaps the most original and realistic premise from the series, "The Entire History of You" was the first episode to show us how paranoid future technology can make us. The plot twists centers around an insecure man who thinks his wife is having an affair with another man. By playing back every interaction, every little detail, and every even that occurs, he begins to over-analyze to an extreme. It is the end when we find out he had good reason for this meltdown... she was actually cheating the entire time and lying about it to his face with ease.

5. Men Against Fire: The roaches are human beings

For some reason, I find that "Men Against Fire" does not get nearly enough credit as it should. Of all the episodes in the series, viewers seemed to think it was the most predictable one out of all 13. Luckily, I went in not knowing what direction the show was going, so it came as such a shock to me when the plot twist was revealed. I will never get the image out of my head when the soldier starts to piece it all together and has to live with what he had done.

6. 15 Million Merits: He makes his point about not selling out by...selling out?

To me, "15 Million Merits" was honestly THE MOST frustrating roller coaster ride in tv history. In a dull world filled with shallow humans who live a one-dimensional life, Bing finds a light when Abi enters his life. Being the only pure thing in his world, he selflessly decides to risk his merits to benefit her and get her on a competition show that has the potential to change her world. The audience is in utter shock when we see that the judges are so blinded by what they think is entertainment that they push her to go down an awful, disheartening path. This is not the biggest twist of the episode, however. Furious at his society for taking the one beautiful thing in his life from him, he goes on a very memorable rant about society being so numb to genuine emotions. When he finishes the speech, the judges offer him a way to dive into the very thing he hates. An the worst part? He willingly sells out.

7. San Junipero: Time is not what it seems

Because "San Junipero" is my favorite episode of the whole series, I naturally had to include it twice on this list. When you initially watch the episode, you immediately try to come up with some guess as to where the technology will play a role. It takes halfway into the episode to finally realize where it is going, and man is it remarkably satisfying. "San Junipero" is actually a form of virtual reality where dying people can go to get away from their real-life conditions. So the 80's themed music, lingo, and clothing all start to make sense at a second go-around.

8. White Bear: Is justice truly served?

Black Mirror always does a superb job at making you question your own morals and open your brain to a more unusual way of thinking. "White Bear" takes an awful, disgustingly psychopathic character and turns that character into a victim. From the start of the episode, viewers are left confused with hardly any questions getting answered. The plot twist that the downfall of a once-deranged woman is being exploited as a form of amusement really makes you question if justice is still being served.

9. Shut up and Dance: The content of Kenny's video is exposed

I decided to put this one before the "White Bear" plot twist because of how sudden the reveal is compared to the gradual one from "White Bear." "Black Mirror" reveals the truth in such a beautiful (or not so beautiful) way when we see the flaws of a character we initially felt sorry for come to light. When the content of Kenny's video is revealed, we feel confused as to whether or not he should be forgiven.

10. "San Junipero:" And they lived...happily ever after?

Out of all the uniquely crafted episodes, "San Junipero" is the clear standout of all 13. It is the ONLY "Black Mirror" Episode to demonstrate future technology in a much more positive and beneficial light. Though the ending is left up to the viewer's own interpretation, many can agree that this tearjerker of an episode gave an unexpected happy ending.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
