Top 8 College Apps For This Semester

The quick approach of a new semester brings the responsibility of having loads of homework, group projects, and many exams to study for a new reality for all of us students out there. With the advancements of technology and mobile devices, it is becoming easier and easier to do these activities on our smartphones and tablets conveniently. So here are some apps to aid with studying and classroom productivity to help make this semester the best one yet, and the most efficient!

QUIZLET (Free)

An all-time favorite. Study on the go with this app, which lets you create and share digital flashcards, including images, audio, and study games.

DICTIONARY.COM (Free)

The go-to app for the ever necessary dictionary and thesaurus; make this app your best friend when it comes to papers!

DROPBOX (Free)

This app conveniently stores documents, videos, and photo and has the option of letting students collaborate and share their documents for projects and editing.

EASYBIB (Free)

MLA, APA, and other citations' bibliographies are generated for free using this app. The perfect "works cited" tool for paper writing!

LEARNIST (Free)

A sort of social media platform that allows you to share articles and lessons for others to learn about but also has thousands of curated lessons and resources on every topic imaginable.

WOLFRAM ALPHA (Free)

A knowledge engine that is instantly able to generate facts and information on topics. This app also lets you insert problems and will help solve them for you and show step by step instructions on how to solve it.

PHOTO MATH (Free)

This app lets you take pictures of your math problems straight off the homework sheet and will scan/analyze the problem and calculates the answer. A photo calculator, super handy when you don't feel like writing out all that math jargon.

CHEGG (Free)

This app offers textbook rentals/purchases at good prices, homework help, eBooks, and textbook solutions. A personal fav!

All of these apps are super helpful and will for sure make a difference in your classwork and study habits this semester if used! Plus they are all free to download, cheers for not having to spend money!
