Life is crazy. It closely resembles a roller coaster full of awesome highs and insane lows. At the end of the day, it’s not how many times you fall down, but how many times you pick yourself back up and become stronger. However, there are a select few events in life that make you stop and think: “what in the world? How the hell did that happen to me?” Despite the fact that they may have never happened to you yet, this is a list of six life occurrences that could very well happening to you. Could you imagine?

6. Could you imagine having the inability to conceive children and decide to call upon your best friend to be your surrogate, who wholeheartedly and graciously accepts? Then, just a couple of months into the pregnancy, she runs after a stray dog only to fall down and lose the baby. After this, she sleeps with her ex boyfriend and ends up getting pregnant with her own baby. Fearful of losing her friendship with you, she lies about the whole thing and passes her baby off as your own. Could you imagine?

5. Could you imagine suddenly running into and befriending an alien from another planet who was desperately searching for a specific crystal that would power his UFO in order to return home? You try and tell your close friends and family this and, despite not initially buying it, eventually believe you and help you locate the crystal for your sweet alien friend so that he can finally return home. Could you imagine?

4. Could you imagine running into your arch nemesis from high school who made your life a living hell only for her to come back into your life and cause havoc on your and your family some more? She finds out you have an eighteen year old son and proceeds to seduce him and sleep with him to get one last shot in. Oh and one more thing, to make things worse, you also find out that your eighteen year old son was actually in a relationship with the daughter of your number one rival when this all went down. Could you imagine?

3. Could you imagine losing the love of your life and making the unexpected and bizarre decision to have them cloned only to find out that your love really isn’t dead and you have two of the same person? You also come to the realization that your love was actually kidnapped by your crazy and jealous ex. Finally, the clone of your love decides to commit suicide by overdosing on an aging serum and everything goes back to normal. Could you imagine?

2. Could you imagine making the very hard decision to have an abortion only to find out thirty years later that your unborn child was actually born? In actuality, the fetus that you thought you had aborted was, unbeknownst to you, transplanted into another woman’s uterus where the fetus would develop and ultimately be born. Three decades later, you have an emotional and shocking reunion with the baby you thought you had aborted? Could you imagine?

1. Could you imagine an evil, evil man - say like Donald Trump - was in search of some diamond that would actually power up a machine that he built in a devious plot to freeze the entire planet, only to have Superman and Wonder Woman save the day and stop him before it was too late? Could you imagine?

If you have made it this far, you’re probably thinking to yourself: “what in the world did I just read?” As a matter of fact, that would be the normal thought to cross your mind. You’re saying to yourself that none of these things would ever happen to me in any way shape or form, and you would be right. In all seriousness, these were actually crazy, outlandish story lines to those Daytime Soap Operas that your mother and grandmother probably love to watch every weekday. So nope, these things will probably never happen to you, ever.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
