Summer is here! That also means that some of the biggest names in music are making their way through your city over the next few months. Who doesn't love going to a concert every now and then? Check out who's coming to town this year and make sure to save you and your friends a seat!

1. Justin Bieber: Purpose World Tour

I saw his tour stop at the Barclays Center a few weeks ago. Who wouldn't want to hear some Bieber live? He sang some of his biggest hits plus some album tracks in a show that was electrifying and fun. No, the concert was not full of 10-year-old girls contrary to what you may think. Don't be embarrassed to snag a ticket when he comes around.

2. Selena Gomez: The Revival World Tour

Funny story: I'm actually going to see her with my sister and our friend next week. It's Selena Gomez. How could I pass up the opportunity? IT'S SELENA GOMEZ.

3. Drake: Summer Sixteen Tour

Drake's newest album has blown me away. I've never been one to really take the time to listen to his music other than what's on the radio; however, I was impressed. Also, I would do anything to be able to belt out "One Dance" in an arena full of people. Who wouldn't?

4. Kenny Chesney: Spread The Love Tour

Country is making its way into your city this summer too! If you are a country fan like I am, you're going to want to check out Kenny Chesney's Spread The Love Tour. I've been to many country concerts before and the atmosphere is unlike anything that I have ever experienced. Not only are they fun, but they make you feel like you are on top of the world.

5. Fifth Harmony: The 7/27 Tour

These girls made their start on X-Factor a few years ago and did not win, but have since become America's biggest girl group in quite some time. You might know their previous hits "Sledgehammer" or "Worth It." Their newest one "Work From Home" has proved to be their biggest single thus far. Check these ladies out when they come into your town.

6. Twenty One Pilots: Emotional Roadshow

These guys have burst onto the scene within the last year. You've probably belted their song "Stressed Out" while driving to work. Their new hit "Ride" is sure to be one of this year's summer hits.

This summer's concerts are shaping up to be some of the biggest tours. Your favorite artists from your favorite genres may be stopping in your city or one close to you. You do not want to miss out!

For ticket information, visit your favorite artist's website for more details and when and if they are touring this summer. Websites such as TicketMaster and StubHub are your best bets on scoring a seat.

No, Taylor Swift is not touring this summer either.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
