Top 5 Places Sorority Girls Would Purge At

This is not encouraging people to go out and steal these items. You will obviously get sent to jail because the purge is not real. But, if you’re looking for the hottest trends in sorority life right now to go BUY, here is the list of things you are missing out on.

These 5 places would be burned to the ground by sorority girls by the end of a purge.

Since everything with the “Purge” is going on, it got me thinking. If I could steal anything I wanted, without getting in trouble, what would I steal? Then, an even better question popped in my mind. Where would all of the sorority girls go to do their purge stealing? Naturally, all of the 5 things I thought of would fit 99.9% of the sorority population, considering pretty much every sorority girl is almost exactly alike.

1)   Starbucks

You cannot start a great day of stealing without some Starbs. Last time I went, I got a large dirty chai and that thing was $7.00. Starbucks is the real thief here; they steal from us everyday with their amazing, over-priced lattes. Every sorority girl would steal like, 3 years worth of supplies for their pumpkin spiced lattes, and white chocolate mocha frappes. But, you can’t leave without stealing a handful of their addicting cake pops and their cute mugs. I’d probably steal all of their fall and Christmas cups because they’re festive and put me in a better mood just looking at them.

2)   Kendra Scott Store

I may or may not be the only sorority girl on my campus who does not have a pair on Kendra’s. I don’t know if they were giving them out for free somewhere and I missed the memo but literally, everyone and their mom has a pair. I just couldn’t give up $75 for a pair of earrings, but I would most definitely take that five-finger discount on them. Oh yeah, and they have the cutest little rings now, I’d get one for every finger, in every color. I’ve seen a lot of girls with their adorable drop necklaces so I’m sure that girls would steal all of those, right after they snatched up all the earrings.

3)   Tory Burch Store

I’m iffy to say whether or not girls would steal every pair of Tory Burch sandals ever made because I’m pretty sure you have to buy a pair of her sandals before you are allowed to join a sorority. Not sure how I got in, because I don’t own a pair of those either. I do however remember getting a Tori Burch necklace for my 17th birthday and I wore that thing like it was going out of style, and then I found it was a fake. Ha, bummer. I think all her jewelry would go first, because I feel like once you have a pair of her shoes, you have them all. There is an exception for her red ones though. I would literally steal a pair in every size.

4)   A Monogram Company

I don’t know where monograms come from, or who invented them, but I know they’re raking in that money. And you can guess it again, I don’t have anything monogrammed either. I think monograms are cute, but dang, people monogram everything. I don’t know if it’s a machine that does it all or what, but girls are monogramming everything from their clothes to their pumpkins on Halloween. Whatever or whoever makes and/or prints monograms would be stolen the minute it started.

5)   A Converse Store

I actually do have a pair of converse, so I guess you could say I’m stepping up in Greek Life. The white high tops would all be gone before you could even get to the store. I went to buy some a few weeks ago and couldn’t find them anywhere. And that’s when they are actually for sale, not for purge.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
