Here are five of my favorite movies which are perfect for girls' night in!

1. Roman Holiday (1953)

Audrey Hepburn in the movie that launched her to stardom + Gregory Peck = Swooning! This movie is an emotional roller coaster — it's funny and bittersweet — plus it has so many beautiful shots of Rome.

2. The Prince and Me (2004)

A romcom in which *gasp* the main female character doesn't sacrifice her dreams of becoming a doctor or change her personality for a man! No way!

3. The Princess Diaries (2001)

Mia's the most relatable awkward girl who learns to stand up for herself and takes on the ultimate task of being a princess. Also, Julie Andrews is the literal queen and Hector Elizondo is hilarious and wonderful.

4. A League of Their Own (1992)

Girls kicking butt playing baseball during World War 2. Sisterhood. Tom Hanks. What more could you ask for with this gem?

5. Legally Blonde (2001)

An absolute classic. Elle Woods is the epitome of a woman kicking butt to get what she wants. No one can deny that this is one of the best girl power movies of all time.
