Going to college is a daunting stepping stone in most of our lives as young adults. We basically have to have the rest of our lives figured out at age 17/18. Uhm, can you say demanding and scary? I think it’s safe to say that more than 90% of us have no idea where or what direction we want to go in and that’s perfectly normal, or so they say. I know that I was not one of those lucky few that knew exactly what they love and what career they’re ready to pursue; I was at a complete loss. Luckily, a lot of us have parents and others whose opinions we value and trust enough to help lead us down a certain career choice path.
So where am I getting at with all of this? I thought it would be helpful to share the top 5 most employable degrees of 2015, for those of you who are still struggling to figure out your “dream job.”

5. Business Administration
Business Administration covers anywhere from corporations to small businesses. Regardless the size of the entity; however, each business needs excelled and skilled administrators to help lead and guide it in the right direction to create a powerful environment. Often times Business Administration focuses on management. So if you’re a natural born leader, perhaps Business Administration is the career for you!
The average annual salary is $60,000.
4. Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the design, construction and use of machines. If physics, math, and building things are your passion, mechanical engineering should be a serious option in your career search.

We’re always going to need someone to help us manage our money because reality is, most of us aren’t very good at it. Financial managers are in charge of handling your money or a business’s money. Creating budgets, analyzing financial reports with key business metrics, and preparing reports to estimate future investments are all procedures a financial manager would be expected to do. 2. Computer Science
This is the degree for all of you who want to be challenged on a daily basis and love computers. You see the word accounting and you’re already thinking “numbers”, I know you are. Although, accountants often times deal with a lot of numbers, don’t let that scare you away. I mean, there’s a reason why it’s the number 1 employable job. Accounting, by definition is a systematic process of identifying, recording, measuring, classifying, verifying, summarizing, interpreting and communicating financial information. Accountants reveal a profit or a loss at the end of an accounting period.In other words, accountants assess the value of a business’s assets, liabilities, and equity based on the business’s financial reports.
Accountants are always successful, but they also have an extremely stressful and demanding job.
The average annual salary for accountants is $70-85,000 starting. Not bad, eh?
