Halloween is the time of year when girls try to grab as much attention as possible. Halloween gives girls the excuse to dress however they want without being judged for it. It's like Christmas to girls because they can get away with outfits that are entirely not appropriate. Most girls are unoriginal and they use the same costume ideas as other girls. It's easier to be unoriginal than it is to create your own ideas.
1) Cat
Most girls are a cat for Halloween because it is easy and still cute. It's acceptable because most girls do it and it has a decent balance between sassy and simple. My second-grade cat costume really doesn't compare to the cat costumes that are around now. Girls try to wear as least as possible just so they can stand out. I don't really agree with it but you can't judge on Halloween.
2) Devil Or Angel
Another easy Halloween costume is the Devil and Angel duo. A lot of girls do this costume with their friends since it is cute but can still grab attention. A lot of girls just want guys to notice them so the more provocative and luring their costume is the better. A lot of girls make the skirts out of fabric for the angel and devil or they wear dresses and wear a lot of makeup. The goal is to copy the costume ideas from other girls but to make your costume stand out from theirs.
3) Athletic Apparel
I'm guilty of doing this one also but it is very easy to wear jersey's and pull off a sports look. A lot of girls try to be NBA players or MLB players because they are slightly less basic and more girls go to that if they're into sports. It makes girls look athletic (in their heads) and gives them a sassy sports look which is different from the contrary.
4) Minnie Mouse
This one is definitely more conservative than the others because it is on the classier side. You can either make Minnie sassy or sweet depending on how you want to portray yourself. Minnie is also a cute idea when you want to do a couple costume with Mickey. It is inexpensive and can be worn in a majority of ways.
5) Bunny
Most girls that need a last minute costume usually go for the bunny. It definitely is one of the more provocative outfit ideas but a majority of girls lean towards it. It is especially cute with a bodysuit or a tight skirt or dress. Usually, when a girl is in a bunny costume -- guys do not think highly of her. That might be a good or bad thing depending on the image you are going for.
Halloween is fun for all ages and depending on how you look and dress you can have a lot of fun or a little bit of fun. A lot of girls will be out this year with repeating costumes with their friends. But, as long as each person is having fun and embracing it there isn't any issue with it.
