The year of movies is almost coming to an end, as we hardly have two months left. Don't know which movies are going to be the best choice? Don't know which ones to save your money for? Well, here you go!

5) Assassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed is based off the hit video-game series of the same name. It stars Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons in the lead roles. The film is set in the 15th century in Spain. The film is riding high on expectations due to the highly successful game and huge young male following. Made on a budget of 200 million, Assassin's Creed is releasing on December 21st.

4) Passengers

Passengers is an upcoming science fiction thriller which stars Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in lead roles. It takes place 120 years when two people end up waking up 90 years earlier than they were supposed to be and are trying to survive in the space alone.The film is expected to attract a lot of young audience due to the leading stars. From looking at the trailer, it's expected to have loads of intense moments in space as well as a romantic touch with the duo. Made on a budget of 150 million, Passengers is also releasing on December 21st.

3) Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange is a superhero film based on the hit Marvel Comic. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role. It is about a surgeon who loses his ability to operate after a terrifying incident and starts getting help from a mystical being. The film will be the third and final Marvel film of the year after the succesful Deadpool and Captain America: Civil War, so it is riding high on expectations and is expected to attract a huge number of superhero fans. Made on a budget of 165 million, Doctor Strange is being released on November 4th. Remember to stay for the after-credits!

2) Moana

Moana is an animated feature film made by Disney. The film has the voices of Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho. It is about a girl named Moana who goes on a journey to find her people and meets Maui who guides her through her way. The film is high on expectations due to Disney's recent films which have all become box office hits (Tangled, Wreck-it-Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia). The trailer has shown the lavish and aesthetic setting it is taking place in, and it is definitely going to attract the family audience. Made on a budget of 130 million Moana is set to release on November 23rd.

1) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

As expected, Rogue One is the most awaited movie of the year after the record-breaking success of last year's Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna and Donnie Yen in the lead roles. The film is told to be totally different from other Star Wars movies and has a whole new cast. The film's trailer broke records with a record of 88 million views and is set to break more records once it releases. Estimated to be on a budget of 150 million, Rogue One is set to release on December 16th.
