The following are five Bobbi Brown products I have used for many years or are new to my collection that have made up part of my daily makeup routine. After using so many cheap drugstore brands on my face and watching my skin have breakout after breakout, I am happy to say switching to Bobbi Brown has saved my skin for life.
5. Sheer Finish Pressed Powder, $38
This pressed powder will set your foundation flawlessly without caking, leaving you with a natural finish. This product is 100% oil-free and oil absorbing for those who struggle with breakouts due to excessively oily skin. It comes in a variety of different shades, but pale yellow is my personal favorite. I have struggled for years to hide the redness in my face, and no other product has actively been able to camouflage that imperfection like the Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in pale yellow has. For those who have the same problem, I recommend looking for skin products with yellow to even out your complexion.
4. SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer, $44
This moisturizer is perfect for those who don’t like to wear foundation, are beginners to makeup, and prefer a more natural look. The tinted moisturizer provides lightweight coverage with SPF protection, which makes it a great summer buy. A little goes a long way with this product, which makes the price reasonable. Because this product is a moisturizer, it can be applied easily with your fingertips. It is important for skin to be moisturized every day to avoid bad aging, making the application of the Tinted Moisturizer an every morning routine.
3. Blush, $28
No makeup routine is finished without blush. Bobbi Brown’s Matte blushes are irresistible. They make 21 different shades to compliment every skin color so you can get that model-like glow. For light and dark skin tones, I recommend buying the matte blush in pale pink. It’s important to apply the blush in the correct areas to give you the most natural appearance. Start on the apples of your cheeks and sweep upward across your cheekbone and into your hairline and continue to blend.
2. Smokey Eye Mascara, $29
After wearing Bobbi’s Smokey Eye Mascara, you’ll never buy drugstore mascara again. Many drug store brand mascaras will become clumpy and heavy on your lashes, making them look false. Smokey Eye brings volume to your lashes by building and extending your lashes one by one. The secret to this mascara is in the comb. The wide base and narrow tip assures you that you’ll get coverage from the base to the tip of the lashes and you’ll also be able to easily comb through the tinier lashes, making perfection effortless.
1. Perfectly Defined Long-wear Brow Pencil, $42
This new Bobbi Brown gem is by far the most important piece of makeup in my makeup drawer. If you don’t know by now, your eyebrows are what frame your face. so it is important to tame them. This pencil provides you with a slanted color stick on one side and a brush on the other to assure perfect grooming and incredible arches. They are not exaggerating when they say “long-wear.” I can apply the color one day, fall asleep, wake up, take a shower and my eyebrows are still picture perfect. The pencil comes in eight different shades, so everybody can find the perfect fit that matches them.
