" The Office" is one of televisions best accomplishments. From the writing, to the casting, the entire series is on point (until Steve Carrell left, that is). There are countless numbers of hilarious, original "Office" moments that we all refer to in everyday life. But our favorite moments from "The Office" are the underrated ones, the ones that aren’t posted in memes all over the net. Read on to relive the top 4 funniest moments in "The Office" history, all featuring Michael Scott, of course.
Season 3, Episode 19: Safety Training
Michael: “Deactivate the car alarm, clean up the mess, find out whose car that is…if it’s Stanley’s call the offices of James P. Albeany, see if he handles hate crimes.”
Sending Dwight on various pointless missions is one of Michael Scott’s specialties; this moment in particular is one for the books. Michael’s nonchalant under the breath tone regarding a shattered watermelon on Stanley’s car and his reference to hate crimes is a moment easily missed, but none the less, hilarious.
Season 7, Episode 15: PDA
Holly: “I cannot keep myself from Michael. Everything he does is sexy. He has this undeniable animal magnetism. He’s a jungle cat. The man exudes sex. He can put both this legs behind his head.”
Holly describing why she is attracted to Michael in season seven’s “PDA” episode is one of our all time favorite Office moments, mainly for the shot of Michael stuffing cheese balls in his mouth. These cheese balls make multiple guest appearances in the show and are a true testament to Michael Scott’s character, the man loves his cheese balls, and Holly Flax loves that man. Note to self: invest in cheese balls.
Season 7, Episode 2: Counseling
Michael: “I was raised by wolves. I was 25 years old before I saw my first human being…”
Michael is forced into counseling sessions with Toby (after spanking his nephew-then employee of the office-in the previous, unforgettably hilarious, episode). And it makes for one damn funny episode. Go watch it, thank us later.
Season 2, Episode 12: The Injury
Dwight: Where are we going?
Jim: Chuck E. Cheese
Michael: Chuck E. Cheese? [Sighs] I’m so sick of Chuckee cheese.
Jim: We’re going to the hospital, Michael
Michael burns his foot on his George Forman grill and is offended when the entire office turns their attention to Dwight’s concussion over his “severely” burnt “bloody stump of a foot”. Most early episodes of "The Office" remain underrated, considering it didn’t become popular until it’s third or fourth season. We mark this episode the funniest episode of "The Office" to date. If you haven’t seen it, you won’t be disappointed.
