The Top 15 Songs Requested At UNH
Patrick Poulin

Over the course of my life, I have been able to experience many different types of music ranging from the likes of classical rock to genres like dubstep and house music. Only in the last few years have I decided that I wanted to DJ for the entertainment of others and in even less time have started using professional equipment. I have had the pleasure this semester of being able to DJ many college parties and have been able to learn what people are listening to. I have comprised a list of songs that were requested to me the most throughout the year with 15 being the least popular and one being the most popular.

Here are the top 15 songs requested to me this semester:

15. "24K Magic" — Bruno Mars

14. "Bad and Boujee" — Migos, feat. Lil Uzi Vert

13. "Tiimmy Turner" — Desiigner

12. "Sexy Can I" — Ray J, feat. Yung Berg

11. "Uptown Funk" — Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars

10. "Jordan Belfort" — Wes Walker, Dyl

9. "Fake Love" — Drake

8. "All Night Longer" — Sammy Adams

7. "I Took a Pill in Ibiza - Seeb Remix — Mike Posner

6. "No Hands" — Waka Flocka, feat. Roscoe Dash, Wale

5. "No Problem" — Chance The Rapper, feat. Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz

4. "Caroline" — Aminé

3. "Broccoli" — D.R.A.M, Lil Yachty

2. "Closer" — The Chainsmokers, feat. Halsey

1. Black Beatles — Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane

These 15 songs were my most requested songs for the 2016 Fall semester at The University of New Hampshire.

How do the songs stack up on your playlist?

Will do a similar article for the 2017 Spring Semester.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
