11 Things To Die Before You Die
Bucket List

My friends and I are all such spontaneous and outgoing people, and I've always been the type of person to just get out there and do crazy stuff! So here are some adventurous things that I thought would be amazing to do before i die.

1. Go skydiving.

Ever since I was young, my friend and I always said we would go skydiving when we turned 18, but we never did! I think that being in the air, seeing everything from a bird's eye view, would be amazing.

2. Scuba dive in Australia.

My dad has talked to me about how he would go scuba diving all the time in Florida, but I think it would be 10 times cooler to go in Australia.

3. Watch the Northern Lights.

It would be amazing to firsthand watch how beautiful this world is.

4. Travel the world.

I've only ever been out of the country to go to Niagara Falls, and it was awesome! But I really want to see what else the world has to offer for me.

5. Water zorbing.

It's literally being able to walk on water! Why wouldn't someone want to try this?

6. Go bungee jumping.

Being able to free fall would be an amazing experience.

7. Go on an unexpected road trip out of state.

I've always thought it would be nice to just get away for a bit, be spontaneous and jump in the car, and travel somewhere unexpected.

8. Run a marathon.

Even though I'm not very fit, and I'm not a fitness fanatic, I think completing a marathon would be the biggest accomplishment to me.

9. Go on a cruise.

It looks so fun and peaceful! You're on the water in a floating hotel. I mean, really, we need to praise those people who designed cruises; they're truly awesome.

10. Go to a concert.

I have always wanted to see my favorite artist in person, to sing along to our favorite songs and be next to other fans. I definitely would cherish that moment forever.

11. Be genuinely happy about my life.

To not have to worry about anything and to have all the bad vibes free from my life. I know we all have moments where you're in perfect bliss, and you're laughing, smiling, you're with the people you love...but what if our life was full of that?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
