10 Reasons Why NFL Sunday is So Important

1. Family- it's always good to spend time with your family watching your team.

2. The game (of course)- no matter what team is on, football Sunday is football Sunday. All games are fun to watch, but when it's your team, it's even better!

3. Beer- to each their own (drink responsibly)

4. Food- I can't complain about Sunday food, especially when the games are on. It's either food on the grill, or ordering pizza, both are fine with me........ and delicious!


5. Excitement- it's always a good day when your team wins, and watching the entire game with your family makes it worthwhile.

6. It’s just you and the game- sometimes I get in the zone. I don't know about you, but when my team is on and on fire, I'm zoned out and waiting for the next exciting play to happen!

7. Takes away from your Sunday- the game gives you time to relax and look forward to Sunday afternoons (mornings in Hawaii) even more!

8. Prepares you for a good Monday-obviously if your team wins, bragging about it to everyone at work or school on Monday is even better and more exciting.

9. An excuse to go to B-Dubbs- self-explanatory. Buffalo Wild Wings is a win-win on any day of the week, Sunday's with your team on TV is even better.

10. The Love of the Sport….ITS FOOTBALL SUNDAY!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
