People always wonder what they are going to do for Spring Break. Some want the extravagant getaways; others want a party on the beach. Today, I have ten suggestions for Spring Break destinations that are sure to please.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Daytona has been trying to get rid of their party scene, but the deals you find there are hard to beat. The NASCAR capital has plenty of bundle deals on hotels and restaurants that anybody would want to snag.
Panama City, Florida
The Holiday Inn Sun spree is the highlight of all places to get your groove on. Panama has a spring break tradition at Club Le Vela that also has VIP access and a guaranteed time for fun.
Tampa, Florida
Want the beach without the spring breakers? March seems to be the best time during Spring Break season to head to Tampa. It’s close to famous Clearwater Beach and houses plenty of family activities like amusement parks and museums.
South Padre Island, Texas
Though the entire month of March affordable hotels and groovy restaurants open up to temporary guests. South Padre Island is a place for families to come together and play on the beach.
Austin, Texas
Home to the well-known South X Southwest music festival and to a multitude of food trucks, Austin is on the radar for techies and music lovers alike. It’s also a great place for BBQ.
Los Angeles, California
For late spring breakers, there’s relatively affordable airfare in late April to Los Angeles. Once there, you can pair your beach time with urban adventure in downtown Los Angeles, which is experiencing a renaissance of late.
Phoenix, Arizona
Although it’s not the beach, a little desert heat will make memories of this winter melt away. The first week of April is a great time to visit for best airfares. The events calendars for both Phoenix and its close neighbor, Scottsdale, are packed to the brim.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
San Juan is another destination that’s fun for all ages. Between the vast El Yunque Rainforest, beautiful beaches and the cool vibes of Old San Juan, there is truly something for everyone here.
Jamaica
Even though it seems far away, Jamaica is closer than you think. With beautiful beaches and clear water, it becomes a hub for cruise ships and tourists. My adventures there ended with a zip line through the endless trees of the beautiful forests.

Cancun has upheld its reputation as a place to hang in North America. With affordable lodging, long stretching sands, and a night scene that will take your breath away, it is definitely someplace everyone should experience at least once.
