These Are The 10 People And Companies Who Are SO Over 2016

2017 can't come soon enough. Right, Rob Kardashian?

I think it is safe to say that 2016 will definitely be remembered as a difficult year for many people. Even though some great things did happen (Hamilton, Leonardo DiCaprio finally winning an Oscar, Michael Phelps' incredible Olympic performance), 2016 will probably not be on the top of any American's list of greatest years in history. As bad as you may think your year has been, these 10 people or companies are probably counting down the seconds until 2016 is over.

1. Hillary Clinton

2016 had enormous potential for Hillary, but that all went down the drain with Donald Trump and the great e-mail scandal of 2016. Hang in there, Hillary. When you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up.

2. Chipotle

It was a rough year for Chipotle. Even though they handled the E. Coli situation pretty well, they still have yet to fully bounce back. Hopefully, 2017 will be your year Chipotle (don't worry, I still love you, bae).

3. Kanye (and Kim)

It has been a rough year for this couple. First, Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, then Kanye went completely insane in the middle of several concerts and was placed in a hospital for psychiatric treatment (or what Kris Jenner is calling exhaustion). This couple needs some help ASAP for the sake of North and Saint. #prayforKimye

4. Taylor Swift

Speaking of issues with Kanye and Kim, Taylor had her fair share of those this year. TBT to the time Taylor tried to claim she did not give Kanye permission to use the line about her in the song Famous. Little did Taylor know, Kim had recorded said conversation in which she did, in fact, tell Kanye he could use that line. Kimye-1, Taylor-0.

5. The Cincinnati Zoo

Harambe. Enough said.

6. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

One of the saddest break-ups of the year. Brangelina, we will never forget you.

7. Samsung

Exploding phones? Really, Samsung? I feel like the device's ability to explode is something that should be figured out during testing.

8. Ryan Lochte

As if the white hair wasn't enough, you had to go and make up a fake robbery? Come on now, Ryan.

9. The Weeknd

Breaking up is rough... but watching your stunning ex walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is REALLY rough.

10. Rob Kardashian

The majority of 2016 was pretty great for Rob. He had a daughter with Blac Chyna, he purchased a home for their family—things were going well... that is, until December 17th, when Chyna left Rob, taking everything from their home, even all of the food. Can't wait to see what's in store for Rob, Chyna and Dream in 2017.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
