It isn't uncommon to hear someone trash talk about the state of Ohio, but what is it that makes us so "unique"?

1. We put chili on spaghetti with an incredible amount of cheese

And it is seriously so good, but those out of state people don't think so.

2. We spell with our arms at random places

OK, but who started this? Who just put their arms up and started making letters?

3. We also start shouting letters in hopes of getting a response

O-H!

4. We say "pop" which is definitely the correct word

It's not soda, not coke, or soda pop. It's just pop! Simple as that.

5. We go literally insane over sports

A lot of people like sports, a lot of people love sports. But Ohioans LIVE for sports whether it is football, basketball, baseball, or ping pong.

6. We never stop construction, ever

You have probably seen every orange barrel ever made and are used to the smell of asphalt. Also, you can probably count 5 locations under construction right now! At least we are always improving, right?

7. We frequently complain about our state but get mad when other people do

Yeah, we can complain about the scenery and weather, but you can't!

8. We despise Xichigan (seriously)

It isn't just a state. TTUN is our biggest enemy and we hate everyone from that state because of it. Sorry!

9. We smother our fries with ice cream

This is completely acceptable, and actually encouraged.

10. We are nuts

Ohio State's mascot is a buckeye, we make food that look like buckeyes, and we dress like buckeyes, too. No wonder people from Ohio are nuts! But we wouldn't have it any other way!
