It’s the first week of October which means Fall is in full swing, which means….. Halloween is almost here! For all the halloween fanatics akin, here’s some of the greatest halloween movies to watch all month.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
This animated movie about the Pumpkin King Jack Skellington is a favorite since you can watch it from October all the way through December!
Halloween Town 1 2 and 3
Notice how Return to HalloweenTown is not included in this title because we still refuse to believe they switched the actress for Marnie Piper for only the last movie.
Hocus Pocus
Three sassy witches resurrected from the dead, there’s not much more that can explain this hilarious movie.
Carrie
Thought high school was hard for you? This movie shows you how badly bullying can end Horror-rificly.
Dead Silence
The “scary puppet” could easily become way to cliche but this movie has so many twists it’s an original all on its own.

The classic scary clown movie. With all the recent sightings in the woods on the East coast, this is especially appropriate this year.
The Shining
The classic horror movie. “Here’s Johnny!” is iconic and so is this movie for being the definition of a suspense horror.
The Exorcist
There may be remakes and so many types of spin offs, but the original Exorcist may make you go to church on Sunday.
The Babadook
This is a newer movie that can easily be overlooked on Netfix’s huge selection, but the truly original idea and terrifying suspense make it a great watch.
A Haunted House
To finish off the list I had to include the comedy with Marlon Wayans, that may help you fall asleep after watching some of the other movies on this list.
