With finals week coming up in less than a week, everyone is (trying) to be 500% focused and ready for the last exams of this semester. As mentioned in my article last week, I am so ready for Christmas break, to be able to lay in bed all day and watch endless Netflix while in my pajamas. Last week, one of my roommates and I were comparing our "My List" pages on Netflix, trying to decide what shows we were going to binge-watch over this upcoming 4-week break. While I am still finishing The Office, I have a few more shows lined up to binge-watch all break long. So, being the Netflix lover that I am, I am going to share my top 10 favorite TV shows that I've watched on Netflix over the years, in case you're looking for ideas yourself on what to watch this break!
10. "The Office"
Although I still have a season and a half to go, The Office has become one of my favorite TV shows! I mean, how could you not love Jim and Pam's relationship, all the tricks Dwight and Jim play on each other, and just Micheal Scott in general!
9. "Glee"
In high school, I'm sure almost everyone tuned in to watch Glee each week. I am always down to listen to Rachel and Finn duet, plus how can you not love watching all of the drama unfold! Definitely one to binge!
8. "90210"
Watching 90210, how could you not be super jealous of going to high school in Beverly Hills, California? Nothing short of drama-packed, this show is definitely one to binge (I did over Thanksgiving Break last year!).
7. "Young & Hungry"
First off, 23 minute long shows are my favorite, because you can watch double the episodes at a given time! This show is definitely one that I watch when I need a laugh, because the struggles that Emily Osment's character goes through is pretty comparable to my life, you know besides the whole being a personal chef for a rich guy.
6. "Hawaii Five-0"
I am not always one to love cop shows, but Hawaii Five-0 is one of my all-time favorite shows! The two main characters, Steve and Danny, are the perfect pairing to watch and laugh too! A lot of cop shows sometimes all super serious, but this show is the perfect mix of cop-show serious and super funny. Plus, who doesn't want to wish they were in Hawaii?
5. "Parenthood"
This show is a must-watch for everyone! To be honest, when this show was discontinued, I cried (just a little bit). One of my all time favorite shows, the Braverman family definitely makes you think about your own family, and makes you want to hug and hold them tight!
4. "The Fosters"
One of my favorite shows on TV now, The Fosters is one TV show that everyone can relate to on some level. Whether it's with school, family, relationships, or life in general, you will connect with one or more characters on a personal level. It's hard now, because I can't binge-watch this show all the way through, I have to wait until they air on TV (which I'm still not used to calling it FreeForm instead of ABC Family...).
3. "Parks and Recreation"
Two words can sum up why you need to binge-watch Parks and Rec if you haven't yet: Ron Swanson.
2. "New Girl"
I'm sorry, but if you've never seen New Girl, I don't know if we can be friends...(totally kidding). Jess, the main character, is the definition of life goals: she's so awkward she makes it work, she's crafty, can cook, and has somehow managed to learn to live with three guys...at one time.
1. "Grey's Anatomy"
Have you really lived a full life if you haven't watched Grey's? I mean, from Meredith and Derek, Lexi and Mark, Christina and Owen, Jackson and April, how could you not want to be sucked into such an amazing show. 10/10 would recommend if you want Shonda Rhimes to ruin your life just like she has to every other viewer. But for real, a definite must watch.
