You're never too old to eat candy.

My Top 10 Favorite Candies

For anyone that knows me, it's no surprise that I've got a bit of a sweet tooth. Okay, maybe a really big sweet tooth. Although chocolate-anything is happiness in my eyes, I have a few favorite candies that make my day whenever I eat them.

While a healthy, balanced diet is extremely important, sometimes a girl's just got to live a little, and in my opinion, there's no better way to do it than to indulge that sweet tooth of mine.

1. Buncha Crunch

This is my absolute favorite candy and it is my go-to movie snack. Forget the popcorn and give me the Buncha Crunch. (My boyfriend can attest to this.)

2. Twizzlers

I just really love Twizzlers, in all of its forms. Whether it's Twizzler bites, Twizzler Twists, or Hershey Chocolate Twizzlers, you can bet I'm a fan.

3. Sweetarts

In my opinion, this candy is so underrated! I've been obsessed with its tangy deliciousness since I was in elementary school and don't even get me started on the pink ones: absolute bliss.

4. Kit Kats

There aren't enough good things I can say about Kit Kats, but my favorite way (and perhaps unusual way) to eat them is to let the chocolate melt in my mouth and crunch on the crispy wafers. YUMMY!

5. Milk Duds

Milk Duds are my other go-to movie snack whenever I get tired of Buncha Crunch (which is pretty much never), but I still love these candies and their caramel goodness. In fact, the only thing I don't like about them isn't even related to their taste; I just hate when the caramel gets stuck in my teeth.

6. M&M's

CLASSIC. As if M&M's aren't great enough as they are, there's so many kinds out there that I can't even keep up. There's milk chocolate, peanut, peanut butter, mint, pretzel, caramel; the list goes on and go and my smile continues to grow as a result.

7. Rolo

If you've never had a Rolo, I feel bad for you and that's all I'm going to say about it.

8. Tootsie Rolls

Tootsie Rolls were always my favorite candy to receive for Halloween. It's been way too long since I've eaten one and if you've ever had one, you'll definitely agree with me.

9. Snickers

This is another one of those classic candies, where you just can't go wrong. As the famous saying goes, "you're not you when you're hungry," and you can get rid of that hunger by chowing down on a nutritious (just kidding) Snickers bar.

10. Jolly Ranchers

Every Jolly Rancher flavor is amazing and it's not very often that I like every flavor of a candy. In fact, I used to make it a game to see which flavor I would pick out of the bag, even though every flavor was a good one.

If you made it to the end, I hope this article made you as hungry as I was while I was writing it. Don't forget to activate that sweet tooth every once in a while.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
