10 Fall Movies That Should Be on Your Radar

1. "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" (September 18)

Plot: Set after the events that happened in "The Maze Runner," Thomas (O'Brien) and the rest of the Gladers find themselves searching for more information about the mysterious and omnipotent organization known as W.C.K.D. They find themselves in the Scorch, a completely desolate, barren location with twists and turns around every corner. The Gladers join forces with resistance fighters to take on WCKD and unearth the organization's formidable plans for all of them.

Reason why you should see it: Because Dylan O'Brien is a hottie.

2. "The Intern" (September 25)

Plot: Unsatisfied with his retirement, 70-year-old, Ben Whittaker (DeNiro) decides to intern at a fashion based e-commerce company with their senior internship program. Despite the age gap between Ben and the rest of the company's hip, young workers, Ben develops a special friendship with his boss, Jules Ostin (Hathaway).

Reason why you should see it: It's guaranteed to be a feel-good film that you can actually enjoy seeing with your parents.

3. "The Martian" (October 2)

Plot: When a mission to Mars goes wrong and astronaut, Mark Watney (Damon) gets stranded on Mars, he must learn how to live in the harsh space environment. This includes: growing food, making a shelter, and, most importantly, contacting NASA and his crew mates. After his crew receives a message that Watney is still alive, NASA and scientists all over the world must figure out how to get him home.

Reason why you should see it: Hopefully it lives up to the other space movies that have come out recently like "Gravity" (2013) and "Interstellar" (2014).

4. "Steve Jobs" (October 9)

Plot: A story about the brilliant Steve Jobs, played by Michael Fassbender, and the events that occurred during several iconic Apple product launches, starting with the Mac in 1998.

Reason why you should see it: This is going to be the movie that "Jobs" (2013) was supposed to be. Hopefully it doesn't tank as badly as that one did.

5. "Crimson Peak" (October 16)

Plot: After falling in love with Sir Thomas Sharpe (Hiddleston), aspiring author Edith Cushing (Wasikowska) moves into his collapsing, rural mansion. She quickly discovers that Sharpe is not who he says he is and is hiding a big secret. In addition, his house is filled with ghosts and other ghost-like presences that he and his sister try to hide from her. Set during the 19th century, this movie is guaranteed to make you start looking under your bed before you go to sleep at night.

Reason why you should see it: I hate horror movies. I don't know why I put this on this list. You shouldn't see this movie if you want to sleep soundly.

6. "The Peanuts Movie" (November 6)

Plot: Follow Charlie Brown and the rest of his friends, as Charlie tries to reinvent himself, gain some confidence, and win the heart of the Little-Red-Haired-Girl who just moved to town. Meanwhile, Snoopy goes up against his arch nemesis, The Red Baron.

Reason why you should see it: It's Charlie Brown and Snoopy, aka, your childhood.

7. "Spectre" (November 6)

Plot: Set after Raoul Silva's attack on MI6, James Bond (Craig) comes face-to-face with his biggest challenge yet, a nasty organization known as SPECTRE. The only way to him figure out the motives of SPECTRE is to protect Dr. Madeleine Swan (Seydoux), daughter of former enemy, Mr. White (Christensen). As he gets closer and closer to the truth, he discovers a shocking connection between him and the enemy (Waltz). Meanwhile, Gareth Mallory (Fiennes), who the newly appointed M, continues to combat political pressures that might indefinitely affect the future of MI6.

Reason why you should see it: It's James Bond and more importantly, it's Daniel Craig as James Bond. Oh, and Voldemort is in it too.

8. "Hunger Games: The Mocking Jay - Part 2" (November 20)

Plot: With Panem in an all out revolutionary war, Katniss (Lawrence) affronts President Snow (Sutherland) in one last final showdown. Teaming up with her closest friends, Peeta (Hutchinson), Gale (Hemsworth), Finnick (Claflin), and the rest of the District 13 unit embark on a mission to free the citizens of Panem and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow. In order to get to Snow, the "Girl on Fire" must navigate her way through hazardous traps, dangerous enemies and moral choices that will determine the future of rest Panem.

Reason why you should see it: It's the end of the series. Duh.

9. "Sisters" (December 18)

Plot: Sisters, and adults, Katie (Fey) and Maura (Poehler), come home for a weekend to find out their parents decided to sell their childhood home. Together, they decide to throw the house party that they never got to throw while growing up there, and of course all hell breaks loose. This movie is guaranteed to make you laugh, because the only thing that's funnier than Amy Poehler and Tina Fey together, is Amy Poehler and Tina Fey as middle-late 30-year-olds acting like teenagers.

Reason why you should see it: Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were hilarious together on SNL and in "Baby Mama" (2008), so they're bound to a great duo in Sisters.

10. "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" (December 18)

Plot: Ok, so no one really knows the plot to this movie (that's kind of the point). But here's what Wikipedia says about it: "The Force Awakens" is set approximately 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi" and features new leads Finn, Rey, and Poe Dameron alongside characters returning from previous "Star Wars" films." Sorry I couldn't elaborate more on this movie...

Reason why you should see it: Because its Star Wars and it's going to be f*cking epic.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
