I have often found that it is a struggle to plan dates for me and my girlfriend. Alright, maybe plan is the wrong word, but I find it hard to think of ideas. Maybe you find yourself in the same boat as me. Well, I've come up with a list of ten date ideas that absolutely anyone can use, and they are guaranteed (girlfriend approved) to be hits.
1. Their Favorite Restaurant/Food Type: You can never go wrong with food. If you want to show your person some extra special attention, but you can't think of something that will blow them away, just stay simple. Going out to eat can be fun, relaxing, and a great time to just catch up with each other. Also, if you bring them to get their favorite type of food, you're a keeper.
2. Ice Skating:
This one is more seasonal, but it is so much fun and it is so cute. Whether you know how to ice skate or not, you should definitely try this out at least once. It is fun no matter the skill level, and you are guaranteed to make memories.
3. Spa Day: Definitely pricey, but absolutely worth it. Your significant other will be wooing over you for weeks to come, plus these are usually pretty sexy dates.
4. Beach Trip:
5. Sports Game:
Whether you are a baseball, basketball, football, or hockey fan, you're guaranteed to have a great time going out and watching your favorite team play.
6. Walk Around the City: For me, this is Boston. For you, this could be anywhere. Hell, it doesn't even have to be a city. Walking around a cute little rural town would work just as well.
7. The Aquarium: This is probably one of the better ideas that I've ever had (except I think I have to give my girlfriend credit). It was a blast. You're never too old to watch penguins poop on rocks and turtles sleepily swim around their tanks.
8. Apple Picking:
SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun. Like so much fun. You'll have non-stop laughs, unless you're the one carrying the apples. Then your arm will get tired and you'll want to leave way earlier than everyone else.
9. Star Gazing:
My personal favorite. Just make sure you actually know that some big event is going to happen before you decide to stay up until 1 AM to, I don't know, try and see Mars. Oops.
10. Romantic Movie and Wine Night:
Always a good go to, and you probably thought of this one on your own, but I'm only here to help. Reminding you of the old faithful can only help your situation right now.
So there you have it! I hope they were helpful and you guys enjoy your time falling in love. It truly is special, so make the most of it.
