Top 10 Christmas movies..ranked in order!
Nothing makes the holiday season better than Christmas movies. 25 days of Christmas is the icing on top of the perfect holiday cake. I tried my best to pick only 10 to rank, in order from good to best (because there are no bad ones,) here’s what I came up with.
10. A Charlie Brown Christmas:
It’s a classic, it’s all about a Christmas tree and coming together, and to be honest it isn’t the holiday season without watching a Charlie Brown movie. Therefore, it has to be on the list earning the number 10 spot.
9. Mickey’s Christmas Carol:
I don’t care what anyone says, Disney always makes great movies and their Christmas movies aren’t short of that. Throw Mickey and Minnie in there as the Christmas family OTP with their son tiny tim, and you have the number 9 Christmas movie spot.
8. Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town:
The definition of an oldie but goodie. Santa Clause is clearly the epitome of Christmas and this movie brings the entire theme (and song) of Christmas together. It has to be on this list, and the quality makes it number 8, but it’s still a holiday favorite.
7. It’s a Wonderful Life:
Here’s another oldie but goodie. It really brings the holiday spirit together in one film. Showing an upset man what life would be like if he never existed. The holidays are all about making it know to your love ones that you love and appreciate them, and this movie helps do that.
6. Love Actually:
It’s a Christmas themed romantic comedy, honestly what’s better than that? 8 different couples deal with their love lives in London, a month before Christmas. It’s cute and funny, and Christmassy. It has to be on this list.
5. The Santa Clause:
Also another funny Christmas movie. A man kills Santa accidentally on Christmas eve and magically becomes him. It’s heartwarming but also a great film that you need to watch in order for it to officially be the holiday season.
4. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer:
How could you not love this movie? Rudolph is such a cutie, its a classic and it has to be number four on the list. Not much to say other than it has to.
3. Frosty the Snowman:
If you read the description for number four, and change Rudolph to Frosty, you’ll understand why this is number three. Also a great holiday song came out of this one so there you go.
2. Miracle on 34th Street:
Another Christmas classic. Probably the epitome of a Christmas classic. Watch it and you’ll see why it is number two, why you have to watch it, and why everyone loves Santa Clause.
- Elf:
Honestly, what is better than Will Ferrell traveling through the seven layers of the candy cane forest in search of his real father? Ugh amazing. Everything about this movie from him screaming “SANTA” to him singing in the bathroom with his future gf this movie is everything you need during the holidays. Elf is the number one Christmas movie, and I think most will agree.
So even if you think this list is totally inaccurate (which I don’t see how but whatever,) I hope it inspires you to watch the best Christmas movies and get into the holiday spirit.
