10.) Candy. EVERYWHERE.

This is both a good and bad thing, which is why I listed it at number 10. It's good for our sweet tooth but terrible for our temptations.

9.) Makeup Tutorials

This one is from my personal loves. Mid-way through September, it begins...You open YouTube and spooky makeup tutorials are all over your page. You binge watch them. You learn them. You practice on your friends. It's a great process.

8.) Pumpkins

You can go pick your own, from a patch or a store. You can carve them with family or friends. Will it be creepy? Adorable? Imaginative? Not to mention pumpkin seeds and pies.

7.) Songs

Need I say more? This is Halloween will be forever imprinted on my mind.

6.) Halloween Specials

Thinking back, my favorite episodes of TV shows were the specials. I think this still remains.

5.) The Atmosphere

Do you know what I mean? The overall feeling you get around Halloween is one of my favorite things of the entire year.

4.) Scary Movies

For those like me who live entirely for slasher films and ghost stories, Halloween is the best for this reason. Ever wanted to binge watch every single scary movie in a franchise? Now's your chance!

3.) Haunted Houses

It's such a thrill to want to be scared and get the job done. Having things jump out at you and your friends and overall creep you out is amazing.

Is there anything better than going into a store with your friends and watching stuff jump out at you? Or planning out your costumes together?

1.) Costumes

Speaking of costumes, planning out your Halloween costume is undeniably the best part of the holiday. Will you go all out? Simple? Scary? Sexy? You can be whatever and whomever you'd like on Halloween.
