You, yes you. The one who is reading this article. I have a basic yet important message just for you: Keep Pushing Through. Perhaps you already know this fact and have a detailed plan in place Or maybe you are currently struggling to grasp the idea of what your own purpose is in life and you still feel the need to get some reassurance from those who are around you.

Either way, you are you. You are unique and will make it one way or another. It will be okay even if there are some mistakes that are made along the way. Perhaps your results will not be the ideal image of what you have originally panned out but I promise you that it is completely common to sometimes feel uncertainty about what the future of your life may hold.

Even I as the author of this article have felt this way before. I am just 22 years old but, from my observations, I believe it is very common to feel a sense of uncertainty about life in general. This is especially when you're a person who is in your 20s since it is a transitional phase of life.

I metaphorically view life phases as a journey of the self. It is a journey that continues to go through each of the life stages. In general, it can be hard for a person to find their way at times. Although in your 20s many people are constantly asking what your plans are for the future and it's okay to be unsure of what your exact answer is. This is especially important to keep in mind when you're still in college.

College is a time of change and self-discovery. In truth, you may have more than one path in life and that's okay to admit. You may even find out college is not the best option for you to do or you may even change your major quite a bit before you find the one that works well for you. This is okay. Humans are supposed to be multitalented beings who do not fit into one standard or specific mold. We are not copies but individuals. Although you will never know what your own talents are unless you start to become brave enough to explore and learn new things.

The journey to find your place in life can be full of several twists and turns but at each of these turns, there will be checkpoints which are meant to teach you lessons. These are lessons meant to help you to push through. These are lessons which will help you to build a foundation while you can use to reflect upon your current knowledge that you acquired. You can then use your knowledge to help aid you in your present goals as well as using these lessons to help create new goals for your possible future endeavors.

It is totally okay to be your own person and you should not feel like you need to fit into the mainstream crowd to receive any validation or praise from others. Strive to be different from your peers. Become a leader of your life. Attempt to grow and mature as a person who is on their own life journey. Do something because you feel you are ready to make that push to change for yourself. Overall you need to remember you are a unique individual and what may work for someone else as a life choice may not work well for you.

Therefore there is no right or wrong way to achieve your future goals. There is no specific time period to achieve many goals either. As long as you continue to push through and apply yourself you will get to an endpoint and you will still gain new experiences no matter what the goal's final outcome may be. So as long as you try your personal best you will either learn a valuable lesson from the actions you chose to do or you will achieve a positive outcome. Neither result is better than the other.

This is because from a lesson you will find out that perhaps the situation you were in was just not meant to be. Instead, you can use that gained information to direct you towards a new life goal which may give you a whole new learning perspective which may lead you to a better outcome than the original goal could have done.

Therefore it is never too late to keep pushing through. It is never too late to have a change in the choice on how you choose to develop your personal mentality. In the end, the present choices you make will be an asset towards helping you to determine what is needed to gain for your future after you leave your 20s transitional phase of life. So by gaining a perspective from the outcomes and experiences of each of your goals you will eventually learn that although life is uncertain at times it's okay to keep pushing through.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
