Dear people of these great United States of America,
I assume by the time you are reading this, you have voted for president. November 8th is the day we are allowed to use one of our many rights to pick the Commander-in-Chief. Now, you have voted and the announcement has been made. You respective candidate may have won the election or may have given their closing speech at some early hour of November 9th.
November 9th. It is the day most of us have been waiting for. November 9th is the day we must live with the elected president for the next four years. We are stuck. The people have spoken. So I have a few words of wisdom for you:
You are no longer allowed to start pointless Facebook fights about anything pertaining to a presidential election. It is over.
There is a list of things you are no longer allowed to post on social media. Thankfully for you, I have compiled them into a list for you.
Here they are:
-Hillary Clinton's e-mail investigation.
-Donald Trump's tax returns and not paying taxes.
-Bill Clinton's sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky (UNLESS NOT DIRECTED AT HILLARY CLINTON'S QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRESIDENCY)
-Donald Trump being "friends" with Vladimir Putin
-Benghazi
-Rosie O'Donnell and Miss Universe
-Trump supporting or not supporting the war in Iraq.
-Melania Trump's speech at the Republican National Convention
-Hillary Clinton being hired to do her job as a lawyer and defending a rapist.
-Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton's relationship with the election cycle.
-Gary Johnson having no clue about Aleppo
-How John Kasich should have given his support of Donald Trump
-Obamacare (At this point, the new President will decide its fate)
-Donald Trump claims of indicting Hillary Clinton
-Jill Stein's actions at the Dakota Pipeline Protest
-Melania Trump's nude photoshoot
-Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr. looking like crooks
-Tiffany Trump's absence from the national limelight
-Ted Cruz
-Sarah Palin.. Please just don't fuel her career of writing things on Facebook
-Gun control
I am aware that you feel that I am a big, bad meanie for telling you to get over the election. However, it is time to move on with our lives. You had the last year-and-a-half to get all of your feelings out on social media. You are no longer allowed to pick a fight with your extremely liberal friends or your cousin Jack who lives in the backwoods on Twitter or Facebook.
I am sorry to tell you this but we must now respect our new President, whether it is Hillary or Donald, they are who the country chose.
You can now keep all of your opinions in the "political opinion" bin in your mind until 2020.
Until then, sit back and enjoy the ride. The next four years will be very interesting.
