Dad,
There are not enough words to describe how thankful I am for you. Not everyone has the privilege of growing up with such an amazing role model at their side. You taught me too many life lessons to count, and the laughs and memories we've shared so far are unending.
People will come and go in my life. It seems anymore like nothing is certain when it comes to people. People change and people get sick of you. People leave you and hurt you without thinking twice. But if there's one thing I know for sure, it's that you'll never ever do anything to hurt me. I know when I need to cry, need to vent, or need advice, I can call you and you'll do anything to help me. That reassurance is the most amazing thing in the world, and I hope you know how grateful I am for that.
The memories we share are something I will always have with me. You've done an amazing job at making me your princess and a daddy's girl from day one. I'll never forget all the movies we watched together or the dance parties we had when I was five. Every memory we have together has contributed to my personality today. Because of you, I'm loving, caring, and compassionate. I laugh until my stomach hurts and I'm goofy without a care of who's watching. You taught me to be the person I am today.
You've believed in me every step of the way and always told me I could do anything I set my mind to. If I'm having a rough day, you're the one I can call and vent to. You're the one that always tells me to keep doing my best. There's never a second that I doubt how proud you are of me. When I'm down on myself and feel as though I've failed, you're right there to remind me that I need to keep doing the best I can.
What I love about you most is that I know there will never be a day when you don't have the best intentions for me. I know that no matter what I do you will love me and support me unconditionally. There's no person in the world who could ever replace you and what you mean to me.
Being a parent isn't easy, and I hope you know how absolutely appreciative I am that you've done everything you can to be a great parent to me. There aren't enough words in the world to put together a letter that thanks you enough, but I hope this helps to explain my gratitude.
Out of all the men that ever enter my life, you're the one who will always and forever be by my side no matter what. I love you dad, and I loved growing up with such an amazing man guiding my way. You're the best and you deserve the world.
