To The Man Who Stole My Heart, Thank You

Words can't explain how good it feels to find someone you actually connect with. To find someone who loves you for who you are and accepts your imperfections as if they were their own. That someone is my boyfriend and I have so much to thank him for.

1. Thank you for always being there for me when I'm upset. It's as if you know right away when I'm about to cry. You always wipe away my tears and try your best to cheer me up. You'd do anything just to see me happy again.

2. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face. Whenever I'm with you I know exactly what happiness feels like. Being with you is when I'm most happy.

3. Thank you for treating me better than any other guy did. You've showed me that gentleman still do exist.

4. Thank you for taking me out once in a while. Staying in and watching Netflix with you is great, but it's also nice when you take me out. I enjoy our weekly date nights.

5. Thank you for being by my side through everything. When I'm stressed out or going through a tough time I have you to turn to. You're always there for me when I need you. You are the first person I run to when I'm stressed because just like that you instantly make me happy.

6. Thank you for telling me when I have an attitude. I know I have my moments when I'm cranky, and I appreciate you putting up with me during these moments.

7. Thank you for showing me what true love really is. It's refreshing to feel genuinely loved.

8. Thank you for being okay when I "pig out." By now you've probably realized how much I love food. And I'm glad you don't think less of me when I finish a whole pizza by myself, instead you're right beside me finishing it.

9. Thank you for opening up to me. I've learned so much about you and I know I have much more to learn. I learn something new about you everyday.

10. And most importantly, thank you for everything. I appreciate everything you do for me. Whether it's taking me to Walgreens or buying me flowers, everything you do for me doesn't go unnoticed.

And thank you does not do justice for everything you have done for me and words cannot express how much you mean to me and how much I appreciate you. You are simply amazing and all I could ask for. Thank you for stealing my heart.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
