To The Man Who Stole My Heart

We have all had our fair share of relationships, and personally, I have no regrets. I have been lucky enough to stumble upon someone who not only understands me but makes the biggest effort to figure me out. He struggles sometimes to reason with my ways but never gives up because he thinks of me as the best decision he has ever made.

It is the most wonderful feeling in the entire world to be in love and no matter who it is, as long as you are happy there is no reason to ever give them up. I, for one, have never been happier than I am now, and while there are plenty of reasons to show for that, one of them just happens to be my spectacular boyfriend.

Thank you for spoiling me

Even when you can not afford to, taking me to lunch or buying me that random cupcake I give you puppy eyes for is never something you turn down, thank you for making such an effort to make me so happy even though your eyes themselves do just the trick.

Thank you for your smile

It is contagious seriously, I can't help but smile when I see it...or you

Thank you for singing in the car with me

Whether we are throwing back rap songs, belting the Frozen soundtrack at the top of our lungs, or kicking back to the new Biebs album, you still never fail to help me give ourselves a personal concert; you're awesome.

Thank you for buying me food

Thank you for letting me love your family, especially your Mom

I will never forget the night you told me I was about to meet your mom or all of the other random times I met a new family member, but thank you for introducing me, their warm welcome makes me so happy and I am glad you can see that.

Thank you for going shopping with me

For all of those times you held my bags while I searched the store and ended up putting everything down by the register and leaving, thanks for staying

Thank you for being a part of my family

You listen to them, you give them advice, you love them just as you do your own, and I could not be more grateful

Thank you for letting me complain...or listening to it anyway

Let's just say...you put up with a lot.

Thank you for the many sacrifices you make

Whether I'm forcing you to take a picture or being clingy and close, you just want to make me happy, and I am so thankful for that.

Thank you for being so focused on your future

I am so proud of you and how much I have watched you grow in the time I have spent with you, I can not wait to continue watching

Thank you for cooking for me, and loving my cooking

You seriously impress me more every single day

Thank you for loving and accepting me

I thought for the longest time that I would never find someone who knew me for me and actually loved me more because of it, and then I met you. Thank you for not only loving me unconditionally, but for making me realize I deserve to smile and showing me that I am my own person and no one controls my life except for me.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
