To the kids who gave up their summer fun...

.

Summer time is supposed to be a break from school and the time to enjoy the sun and weather. Well, not everyone does just that. Some of us work all summer. Being one who works crazy all summer, there isn't much free time to go have fun or focus on other things.

Some things that I'd rather do than work are focus on going to gym, focus on my writing, see people I haven't seen in a while, hangout with friends and family, and spend time with my dogs.

Work isn't all that bad though. For those who don't really care to work during the summer, by the end they're looking for money, while those who work crazy during summer are better off.

Even though you don't have much free time, you're making money. So, it's a situation where you win some and you lose some.

Another thing about being the one who gives up most of their summer, it's a nice feeling knowing you've made your own money and don't have to lean on others when it comes time to buy something. It's also nice being able to get out there and meet new people with all different personalities and take that experience and apply it to your personal life.
