Honestly, good guys like you? Well, most people would call you a “dreamy fairytale” or even a “prince charming”. Good, kind hearted people like you usually don’t just pop up out of nowhere and make their way into an emotionally unstable girls life—or at least they never had the strength to stick around. I had believed that someone like you was just a figment of the imagination, a temporary high. I never thought it could be possible that someone so genuine and true as you could love someone so broken and scattered, such as me.

It was before you, that I was a hot mess, who would self-sooth by hiding in my room, under all the covers, shoving giant spoonfuls of ice cream into my face (okay, let's be real, I still do that). Before you, I never actually knew the meaning of what love was, or how it felt to truly be loved. With my past relationships, I thought I knew so clearly, but I had not even a single clue. It was before you, that I was done taking my chances with "stupid love," because it was never destined to turn out well, right?

Well, that’s where I was wrong, and that's what’s so amazing about you, because you taught me, and you continue to only look for ways to love me and teach me. No matter the tough situations, the distance, the daily pressures of this life, and the small bickering and quarrels from time to time, you still teach me the meaning of love by never, not once, giving up on me. You always pursue me in the deepest, darkest, and lowest moments of my life, while always holding that glue stick, ready to put those loose pieces back together at any given time.

You have truly made me whole again by showing me endless amounts of love and care. You’ve made me whole by showing me patience and understanding, and always reminding me of how beautiful I am (even if I don’t always agree). You make me whole by showing me respect, and confidence, and taking control of a confusing situation. You make me whole by making me feel so secure, safe, and worry free. You make me feel like a celebrity, with all the small things you do (like always showing me off to your friends, or making sure you never leave a room without planting a kiss on my cheek). You are constantly committed, because to you, there is no other, and I have never seen commitment so clearly until you came into my life.

With you, you make the sun shine a little bit brighter, and the days a lot more bearable. It is only with you, that life just seems to be so OK, and put together, as long as I have your hand through it all. And only with you, it is that I do not know if I could ever truly finish expressing my daily appreciation and love for all you have done, and will continue to do for me, because of how you have fixed me. You truly have put all of my broken pieces back together, and made me whole. You made the girl who was once a basket case, into a smiling, bright-eyed, happy new soul.

So here’s my "thank you" to the dreamiest, most loving and selfless man in the whole entire world. Thank you, for coming into my life, and turning it upside down for the better. Thank you, for being the best way to start off my day and for being the greatest way to end my evenings. Thank you, for being yourself with all your cheesy and corny jokes that make me laugh every day, and that keep a constant smile on my face. Thank you, for being MY dreamy fairytale and MY prince charming, by sweeping me off my feet. Thank you, for making me forget about the heartbreak of my past, and making me look forward to my future alongside you. Thank you, for being the guy that made me whole again, because if it were not for you, I would not be as happy as I am today.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
