You’ve made it. Congratulations! I bet, just a couple of months ago that you didn’t think you would have come this far. Well you did, and I’m proud of you. In fact, I’ve recently found my happiness again.
We lost our happiness all because of a boy. How stupid does that sound? Women are strong and capable, but when it comes to love, we fall hard. Embrace this newfound happiness. It is a great feeling. If you’re anything like me, you probably have changed as a person as well. That is a great feeling too. Whatever made you find your happiness again, keep it and embrace it. This thing or person will more than likely never let you down. They will continue to provide you with happiness, because you’re a stronger and smarter person now. You know how it feels to be unhappy and depressed, and if you feel your happiness slipping away because of something or someone, let it go. You don’t want to go down the unhappy path again. It will be easier this time around to let something go. People will come and go, but make sure you never change and if you do, it’s for the better.
Take this time to find new things to spend your time doing. Pursue your education with the best attitude possible. Reconnect with old friends in the process of making new friends. Go out and enjoy the weekends, and believe me, it is okay to stay out till 3 AM and 4 AM in the mornings with friends as long as there is constant laughter and happiness. Those nights will never be forgotten. Spend more time with your family. They will always be around and will always have your back. Set goals for yourself and I promise this newfound happiness will continue to stay in your life.
If you’re reading this because you’re in an unhappy place in your life right now and you want to see if there really is hope for you, there is. Time heals all wounds and take it from me, this is the truest saying ever. Time makes everything better, especially a broken heart. You might feel like the worst person on the planet. Like you have let everyone down, but this is not true. You are so much better than the person who caused your unhappiness. They let a good thing go, and what comes around goes around. So don’t take these words for granted, because I know deep down in my heart and from first-hand experience that these words are true and everything will get better and you will come out of this stronger than you’ve ever been!
The road to find happiness is a journey, and yes it can be bumpy but it is so worth the wait. Remember, you are exactly where you are supposed to be, and your happiness should not be because of another person. You are the reason for your happiness!
