You've gone through life having boys show interest in you, saying they like you, but you've never actually had a boyfriend. Well, don't worry. You're not the only one.
Sometimes you might think that you will be forever alone. You might also think that no boys like you, and that they never will. You might have boys that tell you they like you just to try and get you to hook up with them. Then, after you find out that's the only reason they were trying to talk to you, you feel devastated. I understand. You may have guys that tell you that you're cute or that they don't know why you don't have a boyfriend, like it's a surprise to them.
Then, you might not think that a boy will ever like you, just because they really show a lot of interest in you. They may talk to you for a few days and then just stop one day. You probably think there is something wrong with you; trust me, there's nothing wrong with you.
I am the girl that has never truly had a real boyfriend. Yeah I had a "boyfriend" in middle school, but that doesn't really count, does it? So, really, I've been single for my entire life — SO FAR. I have never been on a date. My friends tell me they are going to set me up with someone, but it never happens. I'm always the single one in all of my friend groups. Yes, I want a boyfriend, I know that I do not NEED one, but it would be nice.
So, to the girl that has never had a boyfriend, I feel you. Just know that you do not need a boy to make you happy. Your friends that are in relationships will always include you in pretty much everything. They will also make time to spend with just you without their boyfriend. Just have patience. The guy for you is out there, whether you believe it or not. I have come to the realization that there is someone out there for me, and I am just going to meet some great, and not-so-great, people along the way. But one day, we will all meet the person that we are supposed to be with. You are not alone, so don't think that you are, and don't give up.
Your one is out there.
