To The Friend That God Gave Me

God puts people in our lives for a reason and He put you in my life because He knew we needed each other.

It all started when you came and joined Gamma Sig. I didn't know you and you seemed very nice. Honestly, I was a little intimidated by you because you are so pretty. But we started to hangout at socials and then we started to become closer friends. I am surprised you stayed friends with me for this long, I mean I am a little crazy. But, you saw something in me and stayed friends with me.

When you left the sorority, I was so sad. You were the life of the party and I did not get to see you as much as I wanted. But, that did not stop us from communicating with each other and hanging out. Then you moved back home and I was extra sad. You were two to three hours away from me and since I don't have a car, I couldn't just go and see you when I wanted. But, we made it work. We talk every single day, send videos to each other and I can tell you anything without feeling like I will be judged for doing it. Though, sometimes I do deserve to be judged for some of my choices I know you disagree with.

You have been there for me whenever I needed to vent to someone, to cry to someone, or to just talk. You have been there for me through both of my break ups, my stresses and when things got tough, you never told me to give up. You always brought me up and knew how to make me feel better. We went to our first concert together and that was so much fun! Then we danced and had a very late breakfast at one in the morning! Every time we go out you are always the one that gets hit on, sometimes they are nice friendly guys, other times they are old weird men. We have shared so many memories together that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

I am so grateful that you were put into my life. I honestly don't know what I would do without you. I can see you being the aunt to my children and my maid of honor at my wedding, that is when that actually does happen. I can't wait to see you in your career and loving what you do. You work so hard to where you are and you deserve the world. Someday, you will be a nurse and I will be a doctor. So, here is to more memories that we will never forget. You will always be my family and my best friend, love you girlie!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
