Although I'm still young and have so much to learn about life.. I feel like there's some things I kind of get the hang of. For example, self worth. They'll pretty much explain them self. But one day, many, MANY years from now when I have a daughter of my own... there are so things I hope she will always remember.
1. Your self worth is given to you by anyone, no one can take it away. You are beautiful, independent, and loved more than you will ever know. You deserve the world.
2. You can move mountains.
3. The sky is the limit. I will always support your dreams.
4. You can always confide in me. I will be your best secret keeper.
5. Don't stress too much about your boyfriend from middle school, come high school I promise you'll have someone new in mind.
6. It is okay to say NO. No matter the situation, sex, drugs, alcohol. You never have to do anything you do not want to do. (Unless it's coming from me of course.)
7. Your GPA & and your grades are important, but they do not define who you are.
8. You love everyone. No matter race, religion, sexual orientation... You love all.
9. You are a child of God and you shall present yourself as such.
10. I will always do my best to give you what you want, but you will always have what you need.
11. Easy on the eyeliner.
12. Call grandmother.
13. I will always love you. There is nothing in this world that could take that away.
14. When you put God first, you'll never be last.
15. Do not let your friends influence you. Trust your gut.
16. Yes you can bring home a puppy.
17. Bubble baths are a big stress reliever. Just lay there for about an hour and I promise you'll feel better.
18. Sometimes it's okay to not be okay. And I'll understand sometimes you just don't want to talk about things, & I will respect that.
19. Don't let yourself fall too hard into a group in high school.. Be kind to everyone and I promise it will be beneficial to you in the end.
And last but not least...
20. I have always known two things in my life, I wanted to be an educator, and a mother. You will always be my number one, and I hope you never feel any less.
