Dear siblings,
Where do I begin? Growing up, we were constantly fighting and at each others throats on a daily basis. Throughout the years, we have matured, and no matter how much we were in denial about it, we became best friends. Our relationship has been through many ups and downs over the years, which has only made us come together and be stronger. You have both impacted my life in so many ways, and I could never explain how much I love you both.
Thank you for being understanding.
I know I'm not always the easiest person to talk to and get along with, so thank you for understanding my moody ways and dealing with me on a daily basis and keeping the complaining to a minimum. Also, thank you for being a good sport about things when I force you to come on adventures with me, even though you would much rather be doing something else.
Thank you for being supportive.
Thank you for not throwing a fit everytime Mom and Dad dragged you along to watch a game or a dance recital. I know they can be long and boring, but seeing you both in the crowd, cheering me on, meant the world to me. Also, thank you for always believing in me and telling me I can do something when I'm doubting myself. You guys are the best confidence boost.
Thank you for teaching me.
Thank you for teaching me, mainly how to cook because you both know how horrible I am at it, but also life lessons. Thank you for teaching me you need to relax and have fun once in a while. Without you guys, school might actually kill me since I forget that I need a social life at times. Thank you for teaching me to be myself and to always help others no matter what. You both inspire me to be a better person each and every day.
Thank you for always making me smile.
Whether I'm having a bad day or upset about school, you both always make sure I go to bed smiling. The little things you do by buying me lunch or coming in my room late at night to talk to me because you were worried about me really show how much you love and care about me. Thank you for calling me and FaceTiming me out of the blue to ask me when I'm coming home because you miss me.
Thank you for always needing me.
It's nice knowing I can help you both out even when I'm four hours away. Thank you for coming to me with your problems or when you are struggling with homework. Although you may seem like a bother, I love knowing I can help make your lives a little bit easier. Thank you for always calling me first when you have good news. Whether it be a new relationship or a college acceptance, I love hearing about all the good things in your lives.
Thank you for being my best friends.
Thank you for always being there for me no matter what. Friends come and go, but family is forever. Thank you for always having my back and sticking up for me. Thank you for staying in with me some nights to just hang out and for always giving me the best hugs when I come home or leave to go back to school. Also, thank you for making family vacations fun and having a blast no matter where we are!
There are a million other things I can thank you for, as well, but no matter how many times I thank you, it will never be enough to explain how much I love you both and how much you mean to me.
