To My Roommate,

They say that everyone you meet is placed in your life for a certain purpose. I believe that statement is 100% true. I was blessed to have roomed with two amazing roommates that have helped me with the transition of leaving home and experiencing new adventures in college without my parents. So, roommates, thank you for coming into my life.

Honestly, thank you for paying tuition to come to a school where I was able to meet you. Now I have no idea what I would do without you in my life. You inspire me to get up in the morning and workout because you know that I want to build muscle on my body. You help me plan outfits for the following days and I know that I can count on you to make me look cute! You hype me up when I am feeling low and help me put myself out there. You not only prepare yourself for your classes, but you go out of your way to make sure that I am prepared for mine. You have a heart for Jesus and that just betters my life in ways that you will not be able to fathom.

We also happened to be going through the same things in life right now and you are the best person that I can vent to. Roommate, just remember that I will love you and hype you up and make sure that you are taken care of because you already do the same thing for me! I am also very thankful that you enjoy eating food as much as I do because lunches at the dining hall would be very boring without you. I hope that you have an amazing semester and know that I am your biggest fan and will support you no matter what because I am on your side.

I couldn't have found a better roommate who loves Jesus and praises His name even in the bad.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
