Dear Little Brothers,
I wish you understood how much I really love you. I know that we fought constantly growing up, and we still do whenever I see you but you both hold a special place in my heart. I always find myself talking about you and the crazy stories you've made. I don't recall ever asking for younger siblings, but I wouldn't trade you for the world. I'm so happy that I was blessed with you two, and I thank God for you. You both have made my life so much more than what it was. You're my biggest fans, and my biggest bullies. I am so very thankful for you.
I want you to know, that I will always protect you. Even when you are older, and have a family I will still be the overly annoying, protective older sister. That is only because I care deeply for you. When anybody harms you, in any way, it tears me up because you deserve so much. I've seen the purest part of your heart, and I know who you truly are under that "tough guy" face.I know exactly what you have been through, and who you are. I know how pure your hearts are. When you are happy; I'm happy, and when you are hurting, let's just say I've had to hide my car keys just to keep myself from driving back home. I always want to be there to help you through your problems and heartache. Anytime I even hear of you crying, I want to rush home just to hug you, and make sure you are okay.
I know that as you grow older, there are lessons that need to be learned by yourself, but know that I will always be here for you. Even if it is just to tell me about how stupid a teacher is, or how mad a video game made you, I'm here to listen. I want you to be able to trust me, and know that I will give you the best advice that I can give.Never feel like you can't tell me something because I will judge you, because I won't. I will always have your back, no matter what. I only want you to be happy. I never want you to feel alone, like I have. I am literally, one call away. The minute that phone shows your number, I will answer, and be ready to listen.
The older you get, the more you distance yourself from me. Not that you mean to, but it is because you are becoming a "man". You no longer call me "sissy", or run into my arms when you see me. We don't share "I love you's" like we did before. I know that you are getting older, and it may be embarrassing to call your older sister 'sissy', but I sure do miss it. Just like I miss being taller, and faster than you. The older you get, the more I realize everything I took for granted. No matter how old you get though, you will always be my baby brothers. I remember your goofy little smiles, and your goofy little laughs. I remember you both refusing to put on clothes, and running around the yard naked, jumping on the trampoline. Thank goodness we lived in the middle of nowhere.
One thing I have learned, is that I can't do anything without Christ. Whatever you do, do it in a manner to bring Glory to God. There will be some people who will mock your beliefs, but never be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. It may cause you to not be as popular as everyone else, but I promise you it will be worth it. He loves you more than I do, and that is close to impossible. Whenever you doubt yourself, or you feel lost, look towards him. Pray, and he will give you answers. It may not be the answers you want, but they are the answers you need. Trust in his plan for you, because I promise you it is great. Trust in the Lord, no matter what.
Overall, I just want you to know that I love you. Even though you annoy me, and remind how much taller you are than me, I will always love you. I love watching you grow into men, and the way God is using you. He has so much in store for your life, and I pray that you grow to know him. I love you, so much. Never forget that. No matter how far away I go, or however long you don't talk to me, I love you. I love you. I love you. I can't say that enough to you to express how much I truly love you. Never forget how much I love you.
Love,
Your Big Sister.
