Dear Friends (old and new),
This past year has made me do a lot of thinking. About who I am, about what I want from life, about family, and about my friends. So many things in this past year have changed but my friends haven't. You guys don't know how much you mean to me and how thankful I am to have you. I'm a firm believer that people are in your lives for a reason.
New friends, thank you for opening your arms and door to me freshman year (literally). It's crazy to think that in just a few short months at school that it was almost impossible to say goodbye for the summer. Although I haven't seen most of you this summer, I know you're always a phone call away. You made the transition of freshman year college a lot easier and more memorable.
Old friends, you guys have been here for me through thick and thin and I can honestly say I don't know what I would do without you. Although we all went in our own directions after graduation, when we come back together it's like no time has been spent apart at all. If we have lasted this long, we have a lifetime together.
Most importantly I want to thank you all for all you do.
Thank you for sticking around, I know I can be uptight, moody and needy sometimes.
Thank you for cheering me up when I'm having a tough day.
Thank you for taking care of me when I get injured... it happens more times than not.
Thank you guys for being sarcastic with me... It toughens me up.
Thank you for being my support system and always having my back.
Thank you for the group chats, hugs, meaningful talks, laughs, acceptance and love.
I'm not going to sit here and list all of your names, but I hope as you read this you feel the same way.
Whether you are "new" or "old,” I don't know what I would do without you. I love you guys with all my heart.
XOXO,
Cait
