To my beautiful mother,
This is my way appreciating you since I never really show it. If there were words I could use to explain how much I love and treasure you, I'd use every single one of them. Unfortunately for me, there aren't enough to describe how amazing you are.
Mom, you've shown me how to become a hard-working individual. When I was in grade school, you were still improving your career, studying for hours on end for a certification test that would allow you to move up in the appraising world. Even while you did all that, you were a full-time working woman and a full-time mom. I'm not surprised that you were able to do so and it showed me that I can handle just as much when I need to... Because, after all, I am a little piece of you.
Since my brothers and I were young, you made sure that we finished our homework at the kitchen table right after school. You made it a priority. If we "didn't know how to do it" or tried using that as an excuse, you'd teach us. You always made sure we were smart children with good heads on our shoulders.
I'm sorry for the unnecessary attitudes and stupid arguments. Please don't think that means I love you any less than I do.
You always make sure I know that you love me and that you're proud of me. Just as you're proud of me, I am a thousand more times inspired by you.
You believed in me when no one else did. Doctors suggested delaying my first semester in college because of the accident I was in. But when I begged you not to keep me home, you believed in me and you were right. I was able to do it despite my setbacks. Thank you for giving me this new chapter in life. It is the best time I've had so far and it would never have happened without your help.
Annoyingly enough, you would always check my high school grades online and ask if I had finished my homework or studied for that big test. Although you can't check my grades now or ask me every day if I finished homework that you don't know about, I make sure it gets done. I know you'd be disappointed in me if it wasn't finished.
When my dad passed, you took care of his dogs. They had nowhere else to go. If that doesn't say something about the woman you are, then I don't know what else could. You're so caring. You care for your family, yourself, friends, and people you don't even know.
Thank you for giving me this gift of life. Thank you giving me the BEST life. Thank you for giving me the best brothers and some of your good looks. Thank you for raising me to like Santana and Fleetwood Mac. I have everything that I could ever ask for and more.
someday, I wish to be half the woman or half the parent that you are. I love you to the moon and back infinitely. Everything I do is for you and is because you taught me to always work hard and improve myself.
Love you always,
Your Babygirl
