I can’t begin to express how much I love and appreciate you. I’m so incredibly proud of you and all that you’ve been able to accomplish. Not having you in my life as often as I want has been one of the hardest obstacles to overcome, but watching you succeed is enough to put any selfish thought of mine to rest. No matter how many months we go without seeing each other or weeks we go without talking, one thing that'll never change is the important role that you have in my crazy life.
Thank you for always being there to help me when I’m freaking out over things that I cannot control. If there is anyone who knows how much I freak out over the silliest things, it’s you. Although we’re many miles apart, you’re still able to talk me down from any situation like you are right beside me. Thank you for giving me the confidence that I need to make it through the days when I just don’t love myself the way that I should. Thank you for the hilarious Snapchats, the meaningful advice and the constant reminder that you’ve never forgotten about me. I wish I had enough time to list every reason I’m thankful for you, but one blog post just doesn’t cut it. Keep in mind that I’m always grateful for you, and you’re always in my heart.
Words cannot describe how proud I am of all that you’ve been able to accomplish. We've come so far from our awkward middle school days. Whether it is a fantastic grade on a quiz or just that you were able to make it to class wearing matching socks that day, I am always going to be proud. Your hard work will never go unnoticed and I will always be in your corner cheering you on! I know how hard you're trying, and I know that you are able to do anything you put your mind to!
To those who are fortunate enough to see my best friends every day, be grateful for the precious time you have with them. Remind them of how loved and special they are. Bake cupcakes with them, and ride around in your car while eating ice cream until you’ve taken a trip around all the local neighborhoods. Give them an extra hug or two for me, and always be there for them when they need a shoulder to cry on. Know that you’re incredibly lucky to have such great people in your life, and never take them for granted.
Here's to an endless amount of memories over the last eight years. I wouldn't trade them for anything. Always know that I'm always one text or call away, and I'm counting down the days until I get to see you again.
